The skies were clear again yesterday, and I headed a little ways down Thane Road to watch the sunrise. Here, the incoming tide swirls around some boulders in this long exposure of Gastineau Channel. I am still getting used to the ever-changing moods in Juneau. There definitely is rarely a dull moment around here. Everything is dynamic. The weather, the ocean, even the land as it rebounds after being depressed by the weight of the huge ice sheets.
