The fishing wasn’t particularly hot these past couple of days, but the weather was, with mostly clear skies and temperatures climbing into the 70’s. After a day’s worth of trolling for kings, the gorgeous weather was an excuse to head up Favorite Channel with Uncle Sean and Florian to look for whales and other marine mammals. We saw a lot, and I will post a few shots of this trip in the next few days. As we returned to Tee Harbor, we passed this sailboat anchored near Point Stephens. This shot is looking past Cohen Island up Favorite Channel after the sun had set behind the Chilkat Range. After a few days up in the Interior, it feels wonderful to back in Southeast Alaska.
